Junk Removal in Hazel Green

Hazel Green is the last stop on US-231 before Tennessee, and most of it is rural: a house on a few acres, a mobile home on a family lot, a shop, a chicken house that has not had chickens in years, and a fence row with a washing machine in it. The subdivisions along the highway are newer and smaller than Meridianville's, and they have the same garage problem as everywhere else.

We run junk removal in Hazel Green at the same price as Huntsville, by load size from a photo, and we treat a gravel driveway a quarter mile long the same as a cul-de-sac.

Most Hazel Green calls come in two kinds: the family lot that is finally getting cleared, and the week after a storm.

Rural lot cleanups

A rural lot cleanup in Hazel Green is usually a family property changing hands or getting tidied before it does. The list is long and heavy: a mobile home's worth of furniture, two or three dead appliances behind the shed, a stack of roofing tin, tires, a trampoline frame, a boat trailer with no boat, and the brush pile that has been growing since the last storm.

We clear it in loads. Metal, which is most of it on a lot like this, goes to recycling. Freon appliances go to the facility that handles refrigerant. The usable furniture goes to donation. Brush and limbs go to the yard-waste facility. The rest goes where it is supposed to.

Manufactured-home cleanouts are an estate cleanout with tighter hallways. We work the keep pile the same way, nothing personal leaves without a yes, and the home is empty and swept for whoever is next.

Chicken houses and old barns get the same treatment: contents out, metal to recycling, and the building left standing unless you want it down.

Tires are a separate line because the facility handles them separately; count them in the form if there are more than a few.

After the storm

Spring systems come up the Tennessee Valley and the far north end of the county takes them head-on. The week after a bad one, the Hazel Green yards are full of oak limbs, pine tops, fence sections flat in the pasture, shed roofs in the neighbor's field and the contents of a carport scattered across the lot.

We cut, stack and haul it. If an adjuster is involved, we leave the pile until you have your photos and then take it the same day. Water-damaged contents from inside, a soaked recliner, boxes from a flooded floor, ride on the same truck as the limbs.

The fence and shed jobs that follow a storm, a new fence going up and the old one coming out, a shed rebuilt and the old roof tin stacked by the road, ride on the same truck a few weeks later.

If the power is out and the road is blocked, we come when it opens; the pile keeps.

Services in Hazel Green

Construction debris and yard waste for the storm limbs, the old fence and the shed that finally fell in. Furniture removal for the recliner, the mattresses and the bedroom suite that are not making the move. Garage cleanouts for the shop and the carport. Estate cleanouts for the family places changing hands. Appliance removal for the freezers and the washer that have been waiting behind the shed for a truck.

The storm loads are the big ones; the family lots are the slow ones, and we quote them a visit at a time.

Nearby, and the drive from Huntsville

Hazel Green is the far end of the county, but it is a straight run up 231 and the truck works Meridianville, Hazel Green and New Market as one route. That means pickups out here usually stack together on the same day, and same-day is possible when a job is already north of Moores Mill. Just over the line in Tennessee is a question in the form, not a no.

Meridianville is the next town south, and the Toney side of the county is west across the county roads.
